Our Project:
Create a storage system for people
in residential buildings who are restricted to small amounts of space. We would
like to create a space efficient electronic storage system where we are able
to utilize the given space. We will achieve this using 2 natural user
interfaces (user recognition and hand gesture control).
Challenges:
- Facial recognition
- Creating the mechanical
system needed for the project
- Inputting sensor data
into our code
- Group collaboration
Individual Tasks
Completed this week:
- Set up and starting posting research onto Wiki
- Sorted out our design idea and have chosen to go with the Mechanical Storage System
- Started research into different types of Mechanical Storage Systems
